HMBE Legacy Sdn. Bhd, established in 2014, has grown from a licensed G4 contractor into a nationally recognised player in Malaysia's essential goods supply and public policy delivery ecosystem. Headquartered at Publika Solaris Dutamas, with a 1.29-acre operational hub in Kapar, Klang, HMBE Legacy now serves as a strategic implementation partner for key government-led economic and social initiatives. At the core of our operations is the Gula Rahmah Initiative, a flagship national program under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN). As the sole Approved Permit (AP) holder, HMBE Legocy is entrusted to import, repackage, and distribute 60,000 metric tonnes of ICUMSA- 45 refined sugar nationwide - ensuring stable prices and secure supply of this essential commodity.
Beyond sugar, we are also a quota holder under the Cooking Oil Subsidy Scheme (COSS). Our facilities process up to 150 tonnes per cycle, supplying jerrycans, bottles, and pouches to markets across Malaysia. Additionally, we distribute nearly 2,000 essential consumer products, including our proprietary brands such as Serai Cooking Oil, and Umar Cream Crackers. With a dedicated workforce of 55, covering manufacturing, warehousing, and corporate operations, HMBE Legacy has earned the trust of major agencies such as YAPEIM, MAWIP, JAWI, FGV, JKM, and Gogopasar through the successful delivery of national food aid programs. Diversifying our portfolio, HMBE Legacy is also the founding company of GOTINT, a national tinting franchise with six active branches across Malaysia. Driven by integrity, efficiency, and innovation, HMBE Legacy continues to strengthen Malaysia's essential goods ecosystem - delivering stability, quality, and equitable access for all.
